Environmental & Safety Compliance
At Hydro-Klean, our commitment to safety is based on one simple concept; protect the most valuable resource, Our People. When decisions are based on safety, compliance comes with it. We have learned that training and top of the line equipment are investments, not expenses.
- People Come First
- All Jobs Can be Done Safely
Hydro-Klean's Environmental, Health & Safety team is comprised of an accomplished group of professionals holding Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner (CHMP) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designations. Individuals regularly attend seminars and training events to stay abreast of developments in regulatory compliance, training methods and hazard identification.
Hydro-Klean believes in providing our employees the best equipment available to perform their job. We instill in our employees not to differentiate between hand tools and safety gear such as ear plugs, hardhats and respirators. Both are essential to complete the task, so there is no need to separate the two. The premise is that a bolt cannot be tightened without a wrench and, similarly, an industrial vacuum truck cannot be operated properly without hearing protection.
Hydro-Klean has developed an intensive in-house, hands-on training program that provides our employees with the skills they need to safely and efficiently operate everything from 3,000 psi power washers to 15,000 psi hydroblasters and industrial vacuum trucks. With this kind of horsepower, there is no room for error when it comes to safety.
We also have developed our own training programs for OSHA, DOT and EPA compliance. These programs address the required information and focus on the daily tasks performed by Hydro-Klean. The EH&S team leads regulatory training sessions while Hydro-Klean Project Supervisors direct the equipment specific training. Our Project Supervisors are experienced operators who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and responsibility skills to manage projects, people and processes.
