High Vacuum Extraction Services

Whether you call it dual or multi-phase extraction, aggressive fluid/product recovery or high vacuum extraction, Hydro-Klean will exceed your expectations. High vacuum extraction (HVE) removes absorbed and dissolved phase petroleum and free product from groundwater monitoring wells at leaking underground storage tank sites. Our mobile HVE setup is great for pilot test studies and can be an alternative to costly, permanent remediation systems.

Hydro-Klean's liquid vacuum truck (LVT) is equipped to generate 27” Hg vacuum to collect water, product and vapor from wells ranging in size from 2” through larger diameter recovery wells. Hydro-Klean has developed a manifold system to connect to several groundwater-monitoring wells at one time, which maximizes the information that can be collected during pilot tests.

In addition, we transport all waste collected during HVE to our own Industrial Pretreatment Facility for disposal. The treatment process removes suspended solids and petroleum hydrocarbons from the waste stream so that it can be discharged to the sanitary sewer.
