Hydro-Klean has provided services to the nation's leading railroad companies since 1989. From hazardous materials releases to general yard maintenance cleaning, Hydro-Klean has the resources and experience to tackle the toughest projects. Our employees are subject to pre-employment background checks, and Hydro-Klean also participates in the e-RAILSAFE program to meet the requirements of Class 1 railroads.
Yard Maintenance
Hydro-Klean regularly completes projects to maintain rail yards throughout the Midwest. Services include:

Emergency Response
From overfilled tanks to major derailments, Hydro-Klean has the personnel and equipment to handle any corrosive, petroleum or non-hazardous material released to the environment. All response personnel are 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained, and several have advanced specialist railroad training to handle general service tank car issues.

Waste Disposal
Operating our own non-hazardous waste treatment facility allows Hydro-Klean to offer turn-key solutions for most railroad projects. We can transport bulk and non-bulk waste streams with a variety of equipment such as semi tankers, van trailers and roll-off containers. Our facility can accept most all non-hazardous waste streams generated from railroad projects.

We also have relationships with prequalified recycling and hazardous waste vendors for materials we cannot accept.
